HOOPN SZN

Logline: Grayson and Mac, two juniors in high school, compete in a game of NBA 2K. Upset with losing a video game, Grayson challenges Mac and the boys to take their skills to court.

It may seem that ‘HOOPN SZN’ is eccentric and unsophisticated, but being juniors in high school, it was finally a chance for us to capitalize on and emphasize who we were and what mattered to us. The realization of having the ability to create something personal compelled everyone that was a part of this film to put forth their best effort, despite not having any idea how to put a film together. After this experience, with the support of Mr. Paige and a premiere at Savannah Art’s Film Festival, there was a newfound confidence within me to continue to learn and invest myself in film.
