Golden Hour

Logline: An introspective short documentary on the pride, culture, and inspiration of being black expressed by young Black men and women.

After the intense summer of 2020 and transitioning from high school to college, as a filmmaker, I wanted to convey a new message and consolidate many experiences in just that period. Golden Hour resulted from that and a newfound appreciation for the Savannah waters at Tybee. This project allowed me to mature as a director, branch away from just a small collective of friends, and let others appreciate and witness the voices within the film.
